HOW TO QUALIFY

2. Make your first transfer. Send $100 CAD or £50 as a first-time transacting user.

4. Pay less, send the same. The discount is applied automatically — $90 CAD or £45 leaves your wallet, and Yousend adds the difference to complete the full $100 CAD or £50 transfer.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR PROMO CODE

1. Start your transfer as usual. Enter your amount and recipient details, then land on the Review Details screen.

2. Tap “Apply” next to “Got a promo code?” This opens the Apply Promo Code screen.

3. Enter your code. Type WELCOME10CAD (CAD) or WELCOME£5 (GBP) into the field, then tap Apply.

4. Wait for confirmation. You’ll see “Promo code applied successfully!” — tap Done to return to Review Details.

5. Check your updated total. Your Review Details screen now reflects the discount — the reduced amount you’re paying, alongside your transfer’s exchange rate and recipient details. If you’ve also got Youpoints applied, both discounts show side by side.

These terms and conditions apply to all participants in Yousend’s First-Time Sender Discount Offer (the “Offer”). By participating, you agree to these terms. Yousend reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this offer at any time by publishing a notice on our platform, provided that such changes do not retroactively impact users who have already qualified for the discount.

1. DEFINITIONS

  • Offer: the Yousend First-Time Sender Discount Offer, a limited-time promotion under which eligible first-time transacting customers in Canada and the UK pay a reduced amount for their first Qualifying Transaction, with Yousend crediting the shortfall to complete the full transfer amount.
  • Discount: the difference between the amount deducted from the customer’s wallet and the full transfer amount, credited by Yousend automatically upon use of a valid Promo Code — $10 CAD for CAD transactions, or £5 for GBP transactions.
  • Offer Period: July, 2026 – September 2026, unless terminated, withdrawn, suspended or modified earlier by Yousend.
  • Qualifying Transaction: a customer’s first-ever completed transfer sent via a Valid Yousend Account during the Offer Period, in either CAD ($100 CAD) or GBP (£50), using the applicable Promo Code.
  • Promo Code: WELCOME10CAD or WELCOM10CAD for CAD transactions, or WELCOME£5 for GBP transactions.
  • Valid Yousend Account: a fully verified, unrestricted account not flagged for fraud or abuse, complying with Yousend’s User Agreement.

2. OFFER PERIOD

The Offer runs from July, 2026 – September 2026, unless terminated, withdrawn, suspended or modified earlier by Yousend.

3. ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to Yousend customers aged 18 years and over.
  • Participants must be resident in the United Kingdom or Canada and hold a Valid Yousend Account.
  • Participants must be sending their first-ever transaction on Yousend in CAD or GBP, as applicable.
  • Not eligible: employees, contractors and affiliates of Yousend and its group companies; and Yousend brand ambassadors, influencers and individuals running paid promotional campaigns on behalf of Yousend.

4. HOW TO QUALIFY

  • Be a first-time transacting user sending $100 CAD (CAD offer) or £50 (GBP offer) during the Offer Period.
  • Apply the relevant Promo Code at checkout before completing the transfer.
  • $90 CAD (of $100 CAD) or £45 (of £50) is deducted from the customer’s wallet; Yousend credits the remaining $10 CAD or £5 to complete the full transfer to the recipient.
  • Maximum of one (1) Discount per customer, regardless of currency, and only on the customer’s first Qualifying Transaction.
  • Yousend may require participants to retain and produce proof of the Qualifying Transaction.

5. THE DISCOUNT

  • Each qualifying first-time customer receives one (1) Discount, applied automatically at the point of transfer via the Promo Code.
  • The Discount is applied only to a first-time transacting customer’s first transfer of $100 CAD or £50 or more; it does not apply to subsequent transfers.
  • The Discount cannot be issued retroactively to transactions completed without the Promo Code applied at checkout.

6. RESTRICTIONS

  • The Discount is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • One Discount per customer and per Valid Yousend Account.
  • Discount eligibility requires a Valid Yousend Account and full compliance with these terms.

7. FRAUD AND ABUSE

  • Yousend reserves the right to withhold, cancel or reclaim any Discount where a participant breaches these terms or the Yousend User Agreement, or engages in fraudulent, abusive or irregular behaviour.
  • Qualifying Transactions must be genuine, first-time transfers. Transactions later reversed or refunded do not qualify, and any Discount already applied may be reclaimed.
  • The Offer is void where prohibited and where any participant’s account or transactions are fraudulent, abusive or irregular.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yousend shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the Offer.
  • Yousend is not liable for delays or failures in Discount application caused by incorrect Promo Code entry by the user or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9. OTHER TERMS

  • Yousend reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Offer at any time by publishing a notice on our platform, provided that such changes do not retroactively impact users who have already qualified for the Discount.
  • Yousend reserves the right to verify Qualifying Transactions and request supporting documentation.
  • This Offer cannot be combined with other Yousend promotions unless explicitly stated.
  • By participating, customers consent to Yousend using their first name or username for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

10. GOVERNING LAW

For customers in the United Kingdom, this Offer is governed by the laws of England and Wales. For customers in Canada, this Offer is governed by the laws of the applicable province of residence and the federal laws of Canada, to which both the customer and Yousend submit in respect of any claims or disputes.
